Recently i went
to catch a movie at the cinemas - Money not enough 2
I must say i don't really support his films, but this movie is very nice!
some scenes were so touching that i needed a few tissues! while some are super hilarious that everyone was laughing their hearts out.
As it's name suggests, this film talks about how money is so good, but kinship is the most most important. i totally agree with that man. The 3 of them in this show are real brothers, looking for materialistic lifestyle at first, but lost their jobs and businesses simultaneously (*suay ah...)
Then their mum goes to the extreme by begging at the coffeeshop to raise money to help them to tide over the crisis. Mark Lee, depicting as the second son, has this very understanding and virtuous wife but he could not appreciate her in the first place. His wife later went to the extent of embezzling her company's money just to repay debts for her husband when his business fail!!
The very sad part came when the 3 of them sent their mother to the home for the aged! The blow was so huge that she collapsed and was admitted to the ICU. Meanwhile, Jack neo's child in the show encounters an accident. Due to the long wait required to transfer blood from the blood bank, their mum sacrificed herself by plugging out her air pipe so that the remaining blood in the hospital(same as the daughter's) can be used to save her granddaughter's life. Then after the death of their mum, they walked out into a brighter side of life!
Really, you must catch this on your own to feel it! This is a recommended movie by ME. haha. It's really nice to catch with ur friends or even family members.
p.s: it is full of hokkein words. so make sure u can understand it first ^^
